Got energy to spare, confidence in front of a class, and the kind of adaptability schools dream about? We’re working with a welcoming primary school in Grays looking for a confident and reliable PE Cover Supervisor to join them one day a week. This is the perfect role for someone who loves being active, enjoys working with children, and can think on their feet when the school day throws in the unexpected (because let’s be honest, it always does!). You’ll mainly be delivering PE sessions across the school, helping pupils stay active, engaged, and having fun. But this role also needs someone happy to step into classroom cover when needed, so confidence leading a class and keeping learning on track is a must.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Delivering fun and engaging PE lessons across primary year groups
  • Covering classes when required and managing the classroom confidently
  • Supporting pupils in staying focused, motivated, and included
  • Adapting quickly to different classes, routines, and school needs
  • Being a positive, calm presence around the school

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with children in schools, sports coaching, youth work, or similar
  • Is confident leading groups and managing behaviour positively
  • Can adapt quickly and stay calm when plans change
  • Brings enthusiasm, reliability, and a good sense of humour
  • Loves the idea of no two days looking exactly the same

This is a lovely opportunity to become part of a supportive school community while keeping your week flexible. One day, plenty of variety, and a chance to make a real difference. Not bad for a day’s work. Apply now or get in touch to find out more.
