Protocol Education is working closely with specialist schools across Walsall to place enthusiastic and committed individuals into meaningful roles supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). These roles are ideal for graduates from any discipline who are passionate about working with children and young people and looking to explore a career in education.
Whether you\’re aiming to become a teacher, SEN specialist, educational psychologist, or you\’re simply exploring the sector—this is an excellent first step.
What you’ll be doing:

Supporting students with SEND across a range of ages and needs

Building positive relationships and encouraging independence
-
Helping to deliver adapted learning plans, including EHCP support

Promoting emotional wellbeing, social development, and confidence

Working closely with teaching staff, therapists, and SENCOs
What we’re looking for:

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Previous experience with children or young people (formal or informal) is helpful, but not essential
