We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a supportive and inclusive school in Newham.
The Role
- Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 (depending on experience)
- Assisting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
- Providing one-to-one or small group support
- Helping to create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment
- Supporting pupils with additional needs where required
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience working with children in a school setting (desirable but not essential)
- A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
