A friendly and community-focused primary school in Gateshead is seeking an enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their team from September. With around 340 pupils, the school combines high expectations with a nurturing approach. Staff work closely together to ensure every child feels supported academically, socially and emotionally. Behaviour across the school is consistently positive and pupils are eager to learn. The school has recently invested in new phonics resources, reading spaces and outdoor learning areas, giving teachers access to excellent facilities to enhance classroom learning.

- Term-time only
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold QTS
- Deliver creative and engaging lessons
- Have strong behaviour management

In return you'll receive weekly PAYE pay, free CPD, ongoing consultant support and the opportunity to secure a permanent contract. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. This advert is for a temporary position.
