An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Year 1 Teacher to join a friendly Gateshead primary school with approximately 375 pupils. The school is looking for someone who brings energy, creativity and enthusiasm into the classroom and enjoys helping children develop confidence in their first years of primary education.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
Start Date: September
Responsibilities:
- Delivering engaging lessons across the Year 1 curriculum
- Supporting phonics and early reading development
- Working closely with Teaching Assistants and SEND staff
- Building positive relationships with families
- Creating a classroom where every child feels supported
