We are supporting a friendly Gateshead primary school that is looking for a Teaching Assistant to support a KS1 class. No direct school-based experience is required — experience working with children is preferred. This role is ideal for someone based in or around Gateshead who is looking to start or develop a career in education.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils during lessons and structured activities
  • Working one-to-one or in small groups
  • Helping pupils remain engaged and confident in learning
  • Supporting classroom routines and transitions
