An exciting opportunity has arisen within a Gateshead SEN provision for a Specialist Support Assistant. The school supports pupils with a variety of needs, including Autism, SEMH and moderate learning difficulties, helping them achieve both educational and personal goals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Delivering one-to-one and small group support
- Assisting pupils with classroom activities
- Encouraging emotional regulation and self-confidence
- Supporting positive behaviour management approaches
