About the Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will

  • Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs within the classroom.
  • Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions to support learning and development.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and build pupils' confidence and independence.
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to support individual learning plans.
  • Help pupils engage with classroom activities and reach their full potential.
  • Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in an SEN, education, care, or support role is an advantage.
  • Understanding of Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or other additional needs is desirable.
  • A calm, positive, and resilient attitude.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
