Protocol Education is recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants for long-term and permanent primary school roles across Gateshead. Schools we work with include EYFS, KS1, KS2, and SEND Provisions, providing 1:1 Support.
Experienced TAs are often the people pupils rely on most throughout the school day. We work closely with schools that value support staff, offer strong team environments, and provide the right classroom support.

Requirements:
- Appropriate qualifications and training for the role (see FAQs on the Protocol Education website).
- Successful completion of a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and subscription to the DBS Update Service.
- Openness to safeguarding checks in accordance with DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’.
All pay rates quoted are inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position; in some cases, the option to make the role permanent may become available later. Protocol Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We offer online safeguarding and Prevent Duty training to all workers.
