Are you ready for a new challenge that offers purpose, routine and a fantastic work-life balance? One of our partner primary schools in Gateshead is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to support children across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Monday-Friday | 8:30am-3:30pm

The school believes some of the best support staff come from care backgrounds because they understand patience, empathy and resilience.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting children inside and outside the classroom
  • Helping pupils manage emotions and behaviour
  • Working with small intervention groups
  • Encouraging confidence and participation
  • Becoming a trusted adult within the school community

If you've worked in a care home, supported vulnerable adults or children, or worked as a support worker, your experience is highly transferable.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
