Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.

This role would suit an experienced Teaching Assistant, Level 3 Teaching and Learning graduate, or someone with a

Level 3 Childcare/Education qualification looking to take their next step.

About the Role

You will

  • Work alongside the class teacher to support high-quality learning.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support.
  • Assist with targeted interventions.
  • Support pupils across the primary age range.
  • Help children overcome barriers to learning.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
  • Support pupils with SEND where appropriate.
  • Prepare classroom resources and learning activities.
  • Help maintain a calm, organised and engaging classroom.
  • Observe pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
  • Build positive relationships with children and colleagues.

We're looking for someone who

  • Holds a

Level 3 qualification in Education, Supporting Teaching and Learning, Childcare or a relevant discipline .

  • Has experience working with children.
  • Understands the importance of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
  • Is patient, enthusiastic and reliable.
  • Can build strong relationships with children.
  • Works well as part of a wider school team.
  • Is committed to helping every pupil reach their potential.
