Your Role
You’ll work closely with class teachers to support learning across the primary age range, helping pupils to grow in confidence and achieve their learning goals.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting whole‑class learning, small groups and individual pupils
- Delivering planned interventions in literacy and numeracy
- Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
- Supporting children with varying learning needs
- Preparing classroom resources and learning activities
- Promoting an inclusive and positive learning environment
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working in a primary school
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach
- Passion for supporting children’s learning and development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
