Little learners. Big milestones. A role you'll genuinely look forward to.
Are you a Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner looking for a role where you'll feel part of the team from day one?
We're working with a warm and welcoming nursery in Gateshead that's looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join their friendly team. This is a nursery where children are encouraged to explore, learn and grow through play, and where every member of staff is valued for the difference they make.
From the moment you walk through the door, you'll be welcomed into a supportive team who work together to create a fun, safe and nurturing environment for every child.
What will your day look like?
No two days are ever the same, and that's exactly what makes working in Early Years so rewarding.
Your day could include:
- Greeting children and families as they arrive, helping every child feel happy, settled and ready for the day.
- Reading favourite stories, singing songs and supporting children's communication and language through fun, engaging activities.
- Getting involved in messy play, arts and crafts, sensory activities and creative learning that sparks little imaginations.
- Exploring the outdoor learning space, encouraging curiosity, confidence and independence through play.
- Supporting children as they build friendships, solve problems and celebrate those magical "I did it!" moments.
- Helping with snack and meal times while encouraging independence and healthy habits.
- Observing children's development, celebrating their progress and working closely with colleagues and parents to support every stage of their learning journey.
- Most importantly, you'll spend your day helping children feel safe, supported and excited to learn.
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
- Has experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.
- Brings energy, kindness and creativity into everything they do.
- Loves building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Understands the importance of creating an inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
