We're recruiting a full-time Level 2 BSL Teaching Assistant or HLTA to work within a specialist setting in Gateshead. You'll support children both in the classroom and through targeted interventions, helping them access education with confidence.
Key Requirements (include on all versions)
What we're looking for
- Level 2 British Sign Language qualification or relevant experience
- Previous experience working with children
- Teaching Assistant or HLTA experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, understanding, and adaptable approach
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
