We’re recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant for a secondary school supporting pupils across KS3 and SEN KS4. Many pupils need extra support with emotional regulation, engagement and behaviour.

The school is looking for someone calm, steady and confident, who can build trust and support pupils to feel safe and successful.

This role involves:

  • Supporting learning and behaviour in lessons
  • Helping pupils regulate emotions and stay focused
  • Using clear routines and positive strategies
  • Building strong relationships with pupils

Best suited to someone who:

  • Has SEN or behaviour support experience
  • Is confident working with secondary-aged pupils
  • Values consistency and commitment

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
