Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Multiple Provisions | Gateshead
We're looking for a confident and enthusiastic HLTA to support children across a number of supportive educational provisions in Gateshead.
Every day will be different as you work with pupils who require additional support to succeed in education.
Because this position involves travelling between different sites, you must be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle.
- You’ll be responsible for
- Leading classroom activities.
- Supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH and behavioural needs.
- Delivering interventions.
- Promoting positive behaviour.
- Working closely with teaching staff across multiple provisions.
Requirements
- HLTA qualification or relevant classroom experience.
- Excellent behaviour management.
- Flexible and proactive attitude.
Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
