A welcoming SEN provision is recruiting a Trainee SEN Support Assistant to work with children and young people who require additional support to achieve their potential. The school provides specialist education for pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, learning difficulties and speech and communication challenges.

Role

  • Supporting pupils throughout lessons and activities
  • Promoting independence and confidence
  • Assisting with behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
  • Helping pupils develop social and communication skills
  • Working closely with teaching and support staff
