This Graduate Teaching Assistant role is a brilliant way to step into education and see if teaching is for you. Protocol Education works with Primary Schools across Gateshead, placing graduates into KS1 and KS2 classrooms on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils across KS1 or KS2
- Working alongside teachers in the classroom
- Helping children stay engaged, confident and focused
- Providing small group or 1:1 support
- Being a positive, reliable presence in school
Qualifications
- Is a graduate (any subject welcome)
- Has experience working with children, paid or voluntary
- Is enthusiastic, reliable and approachable
- Is curious about education or teaching
- Has the right to work in the UK
