Protocol Education is seeking an experienced Cover Supervisor to join a specialist PRU setting in Gateshead. We’re looking for someone who can confidently lead learning, manage behaviour positively, and support students who may have experienced barriers to mainstream education.
Main Duties
- Deliver engaging pre-planned lessons
- Support learning across multiple subjects
- Maintain high expectations and routines
- Respond calmly to behavioural challenges
- Work collaboratively with teaching and pastoral teams
Requirements
- Previous cover supervision or classroom experience
- Strong behaviour management strategies
- PRU / SEMH experience desirable
- Resilient, adaptable, and professional
