Protocol Education is recruiting a resilient and proactive Cover Supervisor to work within a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Gateshead, supporting students who require alternative provision due to behavioural, social, or emotional needs. This is a highly rewarding opportunity for someone who can build positive relationships and create a calm, structured learning environment.
The Role
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
- Manage classroom behaviour using positive strategies
- Support pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs
- Maintain engagement and encourage participation
- Provide consistency and routine throughout the school day
