- Protocol Education is recruiting a motivated and compassionate
1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive specialist school in Gateshead.
You will work closely with a pupil with complex additional needs, helping them achieve their potential in a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Providing consistent 1:1 support tailored to individual needs.
- Supporting EHCP objectives and personalised learning.
- Encouraging communication, social interaction, and emotional wellbeing.
- Monitoring and recording progress.
- Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and support staff.
Qualifications
- Experienced in supporting children with SEND (desirable).
- Calm, caring, and adaptable.
- Confident building positive relationships.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
