Protocol Education is currently seeking a dedicated Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant to work across primary schools in the London Borough of Newham. This role involves supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups, working with children with Special Educational Needs across EYFS to KS2. You will play a vital role in helping pupils access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.

The Role:

  • Full-time position (Monday–Friday)
  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in group settings
  • Working across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
  • Supporting children with a range of SEN needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties)
  • Collaborating with class teachers and SENCOs

  • Experience working with children with SEN (school-based experience preferred)
  • Patient, caring, and adaptable approach
  • Passion for supporting children’s learning and development
  • Able to work effectively as part of a school team
