Fancy helping shape a brand new SEND provision from day one? A welcoming primary school in North Bristol is opening a new Resource Base in September 2026 and is looking for experienced SEND Teaching Assistants to join the team. This is a part-time role with flexible working available. Choose the days that suit you and enjoy the chance to make a real difference while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

The role:

  • Support pupils with a range of SEND needs within the new Resource Base
  • Deliver tailored interventions and learning activities
  • Promote communication, independence and emotional regulation
  • Work closely with teachers, families and external professionals
  • Help create a calm, nurturing and structured environment

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience supporting children with SEND
  • Understands autism, SEMH or communication needs
  • Is patient, adaptable and resilient
  • Believes that relationships come first
