We're recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work in a specialist SEN school in Ferryhill, supporting pupils with autism, complex learning needs, sensory processing differences, and physical disabilities.
In this role, you will
- Support pupils both individually and in small groups.
- Encourage communication, confidence, and independence.
- Assist with sensory and emotional regulation throughout the day.
- Help deliver personalised learning and therapy activities.
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff.
- Observe progress and contribute to pupil development.
