A welcoming SEMH provision in Ferryhill is looking to appoint caring and motivated Inclusion Support Assistants for the upcoming academic year. This specialist setting supports pupils who benefit from additional behavioural, emotional and educational guidance. Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils throughout the school day
- Delivering targeted interventions
- Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Assisting during transitions and social times
- Collaborating with teaching and pastoral staff
- Monitoring pupil development and progress
Requirements
- Previous experience supporting children or young people
- Positive and proactive attitude
- Strong relationship‑building skills
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
