Are you a recent Occupational Therapy graduate looking to gain meaningful experience before beginning your professional career?
Protocol Education is recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Ferryhill.
You’ll become part of a dedicated team supporting pupils with a range of complex needs, helping them develop independence, confidence, and life skills.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting pupils throughout the school day.
- Helping children regulate their emotions and sensory needs.
- Assisting with communication and learning activities.
- Following EHCP targets and individual support plans.
- Working alongside teachers and therapists.
- Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
The ideal candidate will be calm, adaptable, resilient, and passionate about supporting children with SEND.
