Autism Support Worker – Ferryhill

Protocol Education is recruiting for a compassionate and enthusiastic Autism Support Worker to work within a specialist setting in Ferryhill.
You'll play an important role in helping pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition and additional learning needs develop their confidence, communication and independence.
Location: Ferryhill
Pay: £92.63 - £102 per day
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term
About the Opportunity
You'll work closely with pupils throughout the school day, providing personalised support and helping them access learning in a way that works for them.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support
- Assist pupils with classroom learning
- Encourage communication and interaction
- Promote positive social skills
- Support transitions and daily routines
- Encourage independence and confidence
- Build strong, trusting relationships
