We are currently seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and adaptable EYFS Teacher with QTS to work within a Nursery setting in Woodford Green, supporting young learners and carrying out full Nursery Practitioner responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher who is passionate about Early Years education and enjoys supporting children’s learning and development in a nurturing environment.

The Role

  • Support children’s learning through play‑based activities and structured learning
  • Deliver engaging EYFS‑focused activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
  • Attend to children’s personal, social, and emotional development needs
  • Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive Nursery environment
  • Support daily routines including mealtimes, hygiene, and transitions
  • Observe, monitor and record children’s progress and development
  • Work closely with Nursery staff, parents and carers to support each child’s individual needs
  • Follow safeguarding, health & safety and Nursery policies at all times

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working within EYFS or Nursery settings
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Caring, patient and proactive approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
