This role is centred around providing the kind of support that allows students to feel understood, not just managed. We’re working with an SEN school supporting pupils with EHCPs, autism, and SEMH needs, who benefit from consistent, structured support throughout the school day.
Your role:
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support for students requiring additional guidance
- Support small group learning sessions
- Encourage engagement and participation in lessons
- Help students develop confidence, independence, and social skills
What you’ll need:
- Previous SEN experience (school-based or similar)
- Strong behaviour management and emotional awareness
- Ability to remain calm and consistent in challenging situations
