Protocol Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Colchester who are seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teacher for a long‑term supply role beginning in September. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher to join a friendly school community and make a real impact.

The Role:

  • Full teaching responsibility for a Year 2 class
  • Planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Working collaboratively with school staff and leadership

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Year 2 experience desirable)
  • Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
  • Enthusiastic, adaptable and committed to pupil progress

This role would suit an ECT or experienced teacher looking for a long‑term position in Colchester from September. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
