SEND & SEMH Teaching Assistants Needed – Immediate Starts After Half Term

Some children just need the right person beside them. Protocol Education are looking for passionate, proactive and caring Teaching Assistants to support pupils with SEND and SEMH needs in schools after half term, with immediate opportunities available. We’re looking for people who genuinely want to make a difference. The kind of people who stay calm during tricky moments, celebrate the little wins and understand that every child’s journey looks different.

Experience in schools is great, but we also want to hear from people with backgrounds in youth work, care, coaching, support work or mental health. If you’ve got the right attitude and a real passion for supporting young people, we can help with the rest.

The role may include:

  • Supporting children on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
  • Helping pupils manage emotions and stay engaged in learning
  • Building positive relationships and trust
  • Working closely with teachers and SEN teams
  • Creating a safe, supportive and encouraging environment
