We’re recruiting for a dynamic and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school, working within the English department to support students with special educational needs (SEN). This is an ideal role for anyone considering a career in teaching—and looking to gain real classroom experience in a supportive setting.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups across English lessons
- Helping adapt materials and boost understanding for pupils with additional needs
- Assisting teachers with lesson prep, literacy tasks, and classroom routines
- Encouraging engagement, progress, and confidence in reading and writing
You’ll work closely with teaching staff and SEN teams, learning from experienced educators and building a solid foundation for a future in teaching.
