Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them achieve their full potential? Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Enfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is patient, compassionate and committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN
- Supporting children with their learning, communication and social development
- Helping pupils build confidence, independence and positive relationships
- Working closely with the class teacher and SEN team
- Adapting activities and providing additional support based on individual needs
- Creating a calm, supportive and engaging classroom environment
We’re looking for:
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally within an SEN setting
- A caring, patient and empathetic approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to remain calm and positive in challenging situations
- A genuine passion for supporting children and inclusive education
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
