The Role

As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you’ll be right at the heart of the classroom, helping create a space where young children can thrive. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Supporting children during play‑based learning activities
  • Helping create a safe, nurturing, and engaging nursery environment
  • Working closely with the early years team to support development and routines
  • Encouraging curiosity, communication, and confidence in young learners

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and understands how important the early years are. Ideally you will have:

  • Experience working in early years or childcare (2+ years preferred)
  • A warm, patient, and supportive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
  • A relevant childcare or early years qualification (helpful but not essential)
