Are you an experienced and compassionate SEND Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are recruiting for a full-time PMLD Teacher to join a welcoming specialist school in Ealing from September.
Responsibilities
- Teaching pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
- Delivering engaging, personalised lessons to meet individual needs
- Supporting pupils with personal care
- Following and implementing physiotherapy programmes
- Supporting children during hydrotherapy/pool sessions
- Working closely with therapists, support staff and families as part of a multidisciplinary team
Qualifications
- Experience teaching children with PMLD
- Moving and Handling training
- Experience using a hoist
- Confident providing personal care
- A patient, caring and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
