We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Class Teacher to join our friendly and supportive primary school in Ealing (W3) on a full-time basis to cover maternity leave from March 2026 until July 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed practitioner to teach a Year 2 class, supporting pupils through the latter part of Key Stage 1 and preparing them confidently for the transition into Key Stage 2.
The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and assessment
- Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching that meets the needs of all learners
- Have high expectations for pupil achievement, behaviour, and wellbeing
- Work effectively as part of a collaborative team
- Be committed to safeguarding and inclusive practice
