Job Duties:
- Provide support to students with special educational needs such as ASC, PMLD, SLD, and behaviours that challenge
- Assist in the implementation of Education Health Care Plans (EHCP) for students
- Help students with personal care and mobility needs
- Support the classroom teacher in delivering tailored lessons and activities
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Required:
- Experience working with children or young adults with special educational needs
- Knowledge of relevant strategies and interventions for supporting students with special needs

- Experience working with special needs students in an educational setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of ASC, SEND, PMLD, SLD, and behaviours that challenge
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
Working Conditions:
This role involves working within a school environment, supporting students with a range of special educational needs. The work may require physical activity and assisting students with personal care needs.

- All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
- This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
