The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is desirable).
- Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of learners of all abilities.
- Monitor, assess, and track student progress to ensure positive outcomes.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with the Maths department and wider school team.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Essential.
- Have experience teaching Mathematics in a UK secondary school – Essential.
- Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
- Have high expectations for student achievement and behaviour.
- Be committed to delivering engaging and innovative lessons.
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
