We are currently recruiting caring, patient, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work within supportive primary schools across Doncaster. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who require additional support to reach their full potential.
The Role
- Support pupils with a range of special educational needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language needs
- Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to deliver tailored support
- Provide one-to-one and small group interventions
- Help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
- Support pupils with emotional regulation and social development
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based or transferable experience welcomed)
- Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant TA qualification is desirable but not essential
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
