Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? We are currently recruiting caring, patient, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work within supportive primary schools across Doncaster. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who require additional support to reach their full potential.
The Role
- Support pupils with a range of special educational needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language needs
- Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to deliver tailored support
- Provide one-to-one and small group interventions
- Help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
- Support pupils with emotional regulation and social development
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based or transferable experience welcomed)
- Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant TA qualification is desirable but not essential
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
