About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to work across primary and secondary settings within a supportive educational environment in Doncaster. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about supporting learners with Special Educational Needs and helping them achieve positive outcomes at every stage of their education. You will be responsible for delivering engaging, differentiated learning experiences tailored to a range of abilities and needs, supporting both academic progress and personal development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver tailored lessons across primary and secondary age ranges.
- Adapt teaching to meet a wide range of Special Educational Needs.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Track, assess, and report on student progress and individual targets.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, carers, and external agencies.
- Support and implement EHCP targets and review progress regularly.
- Promote students’ emotional, social, and academic development.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs.
- Ability to teach across primary and/or secondary curriculum (flexible role).
- Strong understanding of SEND including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language needs.
- Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
- A patient, adaptable, and nurturing teaching approach.
- Commitment to inclusive education and pupil development.
