We are seeking a motivated and passionate Secondary Teacher to join a successful and supportive secondary school in Doncaster. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator committed to delivering high-quality teaching and inspiring students to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing positively to the wider school community.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 where applicable).
- Plan, prepare, and assess learning in line with the national curriculum.
- Monitor and support student progress and attainment.
- Establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
- Contribute to departmental development and extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching within a secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for education.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities.
- Commitment to supporting students' academic and personal development.
All candidates must have undertaken a valid enhanced DBS check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.
