About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Doncaster. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering engaging lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and inspiring pupils to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress and attainment.
• Differentiate learning activities to meet the needs of all pupils.
• Promote positive behaviour and maintain effective classroom management.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil achievement.
• Contribute to school activities, events, and the wider school community.
• Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development.

Requirements

• All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire young learners.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• A proactive and positive approach to teaching and learning.
• ECTs are encouraged to apply.

Additional Information

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
