We're on the lookout for a talented Teacher of Design & Technology, specialising in Product Design and Resistant Materials, with the spark to launch a new subject area and bring fresh ideas to life.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the way in establishing a new DT lab and curriculum across KS3–KS4.
  • Teach across KS3–KS4 (and KS5 for Product Design and Resistant Materials), and also Art at KS3/4.
  • Incorporate industry‑standard equipment such as 3D printing, laser cutting, textiles and design theory into lessons.
  • Shape a forward‑thinking, hands‑on learning environment and inspire students with practical learning.
  • Teach across two central London sites as part of a creative team that includes Art, Textiles, and Design Technology.

Qualifications

  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom experience in Product Design and Resistant Materials (KS5).
  • Willingness and ability to teach Art at KS3/4.
  • Possession of the appropriate qualifications and training (including QTS).
  • All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.

  • All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
  • This advert is for a temporary position, with the option to make the role permanent at a later date.
