SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Croydon

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEN.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
• Support students with their academic, social, and emotional development.
• Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Follow individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, and parents where required.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
• SEN experience is preferred but not essential, as training and support can be provided.
• A patient, caring, and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
