Your Role Will Include:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
- Creating a positive classroom environment where pupils feel safe, valued, and ready to learn
- Assessing pupil progress and adapting lessons to support individual needs
- Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school expectations
- Providing meaningful feedback to help pupils recognise their progress and next steps
- Supporting school events, meetings, and wider improvement initiatives
- Keeping accurate records of attainment, attendance, and behaviour
- Promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion throughout the school community
What You’ll Need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognised in England
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C/4 or above
- A degree in Education or a related subject is desirable
- Experience teaching within a primary school setting
- Experience planning and delivering lessons for children aged 5-11
- A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Confident classroom management and organisational skills
- The ability to adapt teaching approaches to support different learning needs
- Excellent communication skills with pupils, families, and colleagues
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s wellbeing
Experience That’s a Bonus:
- Experience supporting pupils with additional needs or English as an additional language
- Recent CPD linked to primary education
- Experience working across KS1 or KS2
