Job Duties:

  • Supporting classroom teachers in planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons
  • Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials and resources
  • Working with students individually or in small groups to provide additional support
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support

Required Qualifications:

A relevant teaching assistant qualification

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Experience:

Prior experience working in a school or educational setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Good understanding of child development and learning processes
  • Creativity and the ability to inspire students

Preferred Qualifications:

First Aid certification

This role involves working in a school environment, following school hours and term times.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
