Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, communicate, and thrive. We are looking for caring and dedicated Learning Support Workers to join a specialist PMLD school in Consett, supporting children and young people with profound and multiple learning difficulties.

The role

No two days are the same. You'll help pupils access learning, develop life skills, and enjoy meaningful experiences in a safe and nurturing environment. You’ll be supporting with:

  • Personal care and daily living activities
  • Sensory and communication-based learning
  • Physical support and mobility assistance
  • Building confidence and promoting independence

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
