We are working with a school in Bristol who are preparing for the new academic year and they are on the lookout for a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to run small group interventions. If you enjoy helping children learn, build confidence and succeed, this could be the perfect role for you.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering small group interventions
- Supporting children with their learning and development
- Assisting the class teacher to bring lessons to life
- Confidently managing behaviour
- Supporting children with additional needs
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in a school setting
- Some experience with SEN/behaviour management, or an interest in developing your skills
- A team player, willing to build relationships with pupils and staff
- A calm, patient and supportive approach to learning
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to get one
