What you'll be doing

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll step into classrooms when teachers are absent, delivering pre-prepared lessons and ensuring students stay engaged with their learning. Your focus will be on maintaining a positive atmosphere, supporting behaviour expectations, and helping students make the most of every lesson. You'll:
- Supervise classes across a range of subjects and year groups
- Deliver lesson materials provided by teaching staff
- Encourage participation and positive behaviour
- Support students with their learning where appropriate
- Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures
- Provide clear feedback to teachers following lessons
